Can PS3 run live TV from tuners?

Was not able to find an affirmative answer on this. Was concerned about live sports events(basketball, football, or baseball).

If you live in the UK, you can purchase a PlayTV. It enables TV and DVR functionality through the XMB.

play TV is the ****! just came out in australia, and tbh apart from the daily show downloads i hardly need the apple tv anymore... i can play avi dvds, blurays, record tv to watch later, and thanks to vuze anything on my torrents list.

Best result I can think of is have TvTuner coax connected to the TV.

On Mac can use PVR software to save files to iTunes.
