Thinking of putting my original MBA into semi-retirement by making it exclusively a media hub for my HDTV(My Mini -which I used to use - was commandeered by a cousin). Will it actually run video on a screen that big? (No streaming video, just stuff I've downloaded from iTunes and variosu sources.)

Thanks.

Just off the top of my head I think the 9400m could drive resolutions even higher than 1920 x 1080. Now, the question is what video will you be playing? You'd have to hear from actual Rev A owners about how the cpu handles HD files, etc.

From what I've heard, it'd throttle down the CPU a lot when it got taxed.

Edit: Woops, It's super late, my mind is starting to play tricks on me, I see you already have one so you'd know what plays on it or won't.

Thanks, man.

I am only asking because I am currently in Thailand and have been seeing a lot of these Belkin HDMI to DVI adapters on sale for around $30.

Thinking if I should get them already, or am I just wasting $30?
