These gestures have persisted through at least a few iterations of OS X and I fail to see how they are not inherently broken. I'm specifically talking about the gesture in the attached file: "Swipe between pages".
If you chose two fingers to swipe back, you pull the page to the RIGHT and there's a nice animation.
If you chose three fingers to swipe back, you pull the page to the LEFT (the opposite direction!) and there's no animation. This action conflicts with every other gesture in the options. All of the other gestures are set up to make you feel like you are pulling things along on the page whether it's switching apps, scrolling through a window, etc.
Am I just misunderstanding the thought process behind this gesture? I love 3-finger swiping so this is really driving me up the wall.
