macOS Can someone help me build an app?

Has anyone heard of gtimelog? It's basically a time tracking app that I really need since I'm trying to tackle my chronic procrastination...

I have no previous experience with coding/compiling, and I have been trying for weeks to create this app, and it's been killing me!

Can someone please post a step by step beginner friendly guide on how to download gtimelog? I have all the necessary apps (X11, XQuartz, Macports, pygtk, python launcher, gtimelog-0.8.1).

specific reason you need that particular app> doesnt this do much the same thing? might be an alternative if you cant get someone to talk you through building the other one

What version of OS X are you running? I'm having trouble with this from the INSTALL.txt : copy orig/timelogrc.example... Where is this file? As snorkelman already pointed out there are alternatives like iProcrastinate and Wunderlist.
