Hey I need help unlocking my iphone 2g with fw 2.0.2. I heard winpwn 2.5 is out but I am not really familiar with that program. Also it is only a beta still. Is there any better and trusted methods of unlocking my phone?
 
Is it safe? Like has there been rare cases where iPhones get bricked?

iphone cant get bricked.. u can always restore it using itunes. Just follow it exactly as it says step by step. If you are willing to unlock/jailbreak your phone ( which is illegal) ..you're already playing on the dangerous side.. so..

i used the wrong word.. by illegal..i meant you are violating the apple's term and service.. you can look that up if you want on google.. so by violating that terms..you are losing your warranty rights.. if they see you have a jailbroken phone, you warranty is voided.
 
Okay, that makes more sense.

I understood that by jailbreaking, I was possibly voiding my warranty, but I didn't think it was illegal.
