Okay, so I was wondering. I have the m1 macbook pro so I can't do this, or it won't accomplish the purpose, but I'm wondering, what if you set the air on the icepack and run cinebench? Would it sustain performance for longer? Now of course, I know I'm going to get replies like (it's bad for the computer, condensation and stuff), but as far as I know, the m1 macbook air has no vents and no fan to suck that in, and as long as you don't have it on there for too long all the time, the heatsink and cpu getting too cold shouldn't be a problem. So if anyone would like and has the m1 macbook air, run cinebench 10 min without icepack, then run it later with icepack, and let's see if there's a difference.
