I noticed that Borderlands on the Mac App Store went down to £4.99. Before I buy it, I have a few questions.

1. The game has not had an update since 2012. Does it run on OSX 10.9?
2. My iMac is a late 2013 21.5" model with Nvidia Geforce GT 750m (1Gb GDDR5 VRAM). If the game has not been updated, how will it run on my iMac?
3. Has anyone played it on Mavericks?

I wouldn't worry about compatibility. Bioshock says it hasn't been updated since 2012, but it runs great on my late 2012 iMac running Mavericks.

Thats really weird as we have updated the game 13 times since 2012. What country are you in? Do you have a screengrab? I'd love to get in touch with Apple and make sure it gets fixed.

To your questions, no worries! The game runs flawlessly on 10.9 and quite good on your specific hardware. :apple:

Hi there. I'm in the UK. When I am in the App Store looking a Borderlands 1 (GOTY edition) that is £4.99, the side bar says "Updated:07 August 2012", "version 1.0.3".

Don't worry, Blair's just a bit confused. Irishman was talking about Bioshock 1, and MartinAppleGuy is talking about Borderlands 1. Both are from Feral, not Aspyr, and both are still well supported.

I personally have had a problem or two with loading Borderlands on Mavericks, but nothing major, and Feral's support team is great. Just send them an email if you get into trouble.

Not sure if I should get it (as I will likely be getting Borderlands 2 for Vita) as well as the issues I may have when upgrading to 10.10.

LOL, sorry guys. That's what I get for answering forum posts before coffee!

Dito what Ainze says. I'm sure you wont have any issues with BL1, and Feral's support is quite good if for some reason you do.

Well thanks anyway, it was very nice of you to help me out anyway :)
