well... snapz pro which isn't free can do it but running it takes a huge hit in cpu when recording on screen. imo if you can... mirror your monitor with a vcr or something, record and then re import the video.

hey thanks,

how would i be able to mirror it from my computer to my vcr???

What comp do you have?
PM G5 ->unused monitor port ->RCA AV adaptor->VCR
iBook ->buy an av cable for it ->VCR
Powerbook -> ditto
iMac G5 ->monitor out av adaptor->VCR
Mac Mini ->straight away, use an av cable to your vcr, then that to your tv. You can watch it off the tv whilst recording on VCR
