I'm curious to know if Apple has added the ability in Safari to "download linked file as". MacOS Safari provides options when downloading for both "download linked file" and "download linked file as" to allow renaming the file. iPadOS 18 only allows "download linked file".

Can someone with iPadOS 26 beta check and let me know if this has changed ?

On iPadOS26, I’m only seeing Download Linked File. To rename the file you first have to download it, then rename it.
