Can somone tell me about FCS2 Performance on a MBP

I'm considering one of the new SR MBP's, can anyone share their experiences with Motion, FCP, and their real time rendering on a C2D based machine? THanks!

Haven't played with FCS2 yet, but FCS runs faster on my 17" MBP 2.33/2GB RAM than on my Dual 2.5Ghz G5/3GB RAM at work. The x1600 seems to take on and defeat the 6800 Ultra in the tower.
