Can surf MacRumors, but can't comment while in China

Hi everyone,

I just arrived in China for studies.
I know there are network restrictions, where some websites are accessible and other aren't, for various reasons.
But what bugs me is that sometimes, pages load only partially.
For instance, when I open a MacRumors' article and I want to comment, the field I used to write in just isn't there!


Do you think it's a bug on MacRumors' side, or is this another of those restrictions?

I would not exclude the latter.

Hi, I’m a Chinese who lives in Shanghai
MacRumors is not a banned website in China, and VPNs are not required for you to comment on MacRumors.
But it is very slow for whatever reason.
The way to solve this is to wait(depends on server speed). After 3-5minutes you will see the text box popping up
