Serious question. Can it? Given that I may need to get an eGPU, can the Mac Mini run Ark? Max settings?

Ark's minimum system requirements:

OS: OSX 10.9 or Higher
Processor: 2 GHz Equivalent CPU
Memory: 4000 MB RAM
Graphics: OpenGL 3 Compatible GPU with 1GB Video RAM
Storage: 20000 MB available space

Obviously the Mac Mini has higher than those specs, but I need to know if it actually is playable. Reason for this is I used to play Ark on my 2014 iMac 5K 27-inch with 32GB of RAM at max settings, a couple years ago. It ran beautifully. Then they patched the game. Now the game crashes a lot & runs at single digit FPS, even if I make the settings the lowest possible options. I hear even the 2017 iMacs have very similar results with Ark that I get.

I know Ark is "old" now, but their really isn't many computer games I'm interested in. Ark happens to be one of the few that I enjoy. Most of my gaming is done on my Nintendo Switch (technically Ark is out for this, but it's almost as bad as running Ark on my 2014 iMac) these days, but I get the urge to play Ark sometimes, but just unable to now.

Anyway, I wonder if the minimum system requirements for Ark is accurate, given the performance on my iMac, which is why I ask the question; can the 2018 Mac Mini run Ark?

The mini has a very common integrated intel UHD 630 GPU. Easy enough to google. It will run around 25-50 fps on lowest settings @ 720P.

This is assuming you ran it on windows.
