Record TV shows, and then sync them with iTunes, or is it just another extension off of itunes?

Meaning, what I want to do is record TV shows, and put them on my ipod.....will the Apple TV device do that?

No it will not. It's basically an extension of iTunes.

Use a Tivo w/TivoToGo software.

So I am back to a PC with a TV Tuner/Capture card.....
