watched a review from Max Tech telling problem with bootcamptdrivers that it cannot choose 6k resolution on the XDR display... anyone with the experience?

We've actually been discussing this over in this thread in Mac Accessories.

It basically comes down to the graphics card. With a Moshi USB-C to DisplayPort Cable you can connect a PC to the XDR but the graphics card needs to support DisplayPort 1.4 and have a high enough link speed to send the signal that supports the desired resolution.

My Nvidia 1080 Ti can handle 5120x2880 (5K) but only at 6 bits per pixel because its link speed is limited to 5.4 Gbps.

Someone else in the thread's Nvidia 2080 Ti is fine at the XDR's native resolution of 6016 x 3384 (6K) at up to 10 bits per pixel.

It is similar to the range of Macs that support various resolutions on the XDR. The more modern and powerful the graphics card, the higher the resolutions it will support.

how about the VegaII MPX module ? Max Tech said it can't select 6k resolution by the bootcampdrivers

Vega II doesn't have Display Stream Compression (DSC) like the Nvidia RTX 2xxx or AMD 5xxx.

With DSC, HBR2 is enough for 6K 60Hz 12bpc RGB. Since it only needs HBR2 (DisplayPort 1.2 link rate), you might be able to use a Huawei VR 2 Computer Connection Cable, Wacom Link Plus, or Sunix UPD2018 to include USB with the signal to get the other features of the display (if you're using macOS or Boot Camp drivers in Windows).

Without DSC, two HBR3 connections over Thunderbolt 3 are required. I think Apple's Thunderbolt drivers allow this mode while the Thunderbolt drivers in Windows do not. That's because normally Thunderbolt won't allow a link rate if it could take up more bandwidth than remains after subtracting the link rates of already connected displays from the 40 Gbps max. For example, one connection of the XDR could be HBR3 which leaves room left over only for an HBR connection for the second connection of the XDR. But the XDR needs two HBR3 connections. The Thunderbolt controller in Windows isn't smart enough to know that the XDR connections will not take the entire HBR3 bandwidth which would allow Thunderbolt 3 to have two such connections.

That's my theory anyway. I can't get two HBR3 displays connected to a GC-TITAN RIDGE. Similarly, I can't connect two HBR2 displays to a Thunderbolt 2 Mac without first connecting an HBR display - then I can connect an HBR2 display (connects as HBR) - finally I can replace the first HBR display with an HBR2 display which will connect as HBR.
