Can the higher contrast be seen on the new iPad Pro?

What I noticed most was deeper, richer blacks. I pulled up a color image on the web and put my 10.5 next to the new one. That was the biggest difference I saw. The colors were pretty much the same once I adjusted the 10.5s settings to match the display model's. I didn’t not notice a difference in sharpness.

I’m planning on going back to look at it today. I’ll compare them with a b&w image where the contrast is more obvious. The deeper blacks makes me think it will be.
