Hey guys,

Don't really want to know the answer to this, but I've had my iMac now for a couple of months, and everything is great and I love it, however, recently it seems the screen is degenerating. It's appearing yellow on white backgrounds even though I ran all screen tests when I got it (it's a replacement for one that had issues). The screen was perfect, and there are a few pictures floating around here somewhere.

What I want to know is, after a couple of months of ownership, can these problems suddenly start? I thought that if you had the issues, you had them from the start, and if you didn't you were lucky. Now it appears it's getting worse.

I can take some shots if needed, what are the main tests to run? I know the yellow screen one (although don't know optimum conditions for it), but is there anything else I can do to check? Just a little peeved now that I cannot get a replacement if something has gone wrong, and only get a repair...

Adam.

Maybe the brightness of the LED's has toasted your corneas and the world is slowly turning brown.
