yes.

you can also now save a video from text/email/online and trim the video just like the 3GS on your iPhone 3G or iPod touch, you just can't record your own video unless you JB

What really bugs me though is that you cant send video from the 3G. I got a video from my brother on his 3GS and I wanted to send it to my sister, and it won't let you, doesnt give you the option to.

Press edit, then select the video and forward it to whoever you want. I haven't tried it with video but it works with audio

This is some good info. Thanks for the thread. I have a 3g and my wife has a 3GS and I was wondering the same thing...

im not sure about the iphone, but on the touch you can tap and hold the video you want to send and copy it to an email.

I cannot even send and receive MMS. Always get a freaking exclamation point!!!

And I am not the only one receiving such errors.

Yea that works for email only. It wont work if you try to paste it in the messaging app...

Yeah, its making me mad. There is no reason for Apple to not allow 3G owners to send video, pretty much the only way we can send video is if it is sent to us first and then forwarded to other people. It was one thing to block video recording, but now Apple is allowing us to receive video through both email and MMS, they allow us to save the video and edit it, yet they simply don't add a little button to send via MMS. Hopefully an update will come out to add this feature, if not then I guess I have to wait until I get the 2010 iphone
