Thats not what the bamboo does really. Its more of an artistic tool. Draw on little pad thing (bamboo) see results on monitor. Its pretty neat! My step mom has one for her photography business.

There is Row Mote but like Air Mouse that doesn't answer the OP's question.
No, as far as I know there is not an app that works similar to a Wacom Bamboo.

TouchPad is a similar app; it acts as a trackpad and keyboard. The trackpad is obviously multi-touch (2, 3, and 4 finger gestures).

It's a lot simpler than Air Mouse too (if you don't need all those features).
