I have a QLS MUB1 DAC&AMP, and I found that its size matches the iPod Classic perfectly, so I tried to get someone to help me make a 30-pin to USC cable, but it doesn't seem to work. I'm not sure if the cable needs some special treatment or if some adjustments are needed on the DAC&AMP end?

cloud you please help me with it ?
BTY, now this ipod is working in Rockbox system.
Thanks

As I understand it, you can only get digital output from your iPod if the device you are connecting to has a dedicated Apple authentication chip. A few devices from the heyday of the iPod have this capability. That would only work with the Apple firmware and not with Rockbox.

Unless you’re going to get into some exotic modding, the answer is likely no. But you can run line out from the connector if you’re needing a more powerful amp.
