Can the M1 macs run Windows?

Can the M1 chip Macs run Windows 10 or 11 natively? I am aware of what is possible via virtualization (Vmware, Parallels, etc.) Thanks

Nope, not at this time.

If you mean the "normal" version of Windows, that being x86 Windows, then no. If you want to use WOA (Windows on ARM), then you can use the Insider Preview versions, but there is currently no way of buying a retail version of WOA.

No and the virtualization under Parallels is just the developer preview builds of ARM Windows so even that is a really clunky and half-assed solution.

This can only be done using virtualization. There’s no way to boot an Apple Silicon Mac into Windows.
