Can the new 24" iMac be purchased in Apple stores with 16GB ram? If so what is the largest SSD that it can be purchased with?

I have seen a few comments regarding 16gb/1tb being available in stores, but they seem to be very low quantities.

Unless you want to severely restrict color choices looking for a higher end spec, just order one on Apple.com and get it the way you want - especially the keyboard, trackpad options...

The units at Best Buy, Apple Store, and Microcenter come with the standard mini keyboard and mouse.

I had mine CTO by Apple delivered with the full sized, numeric keypad, & matching color keyboard as well as Ethernet option and Pro Apps bundle (EDU).
