Can the new MacBook Pro 14"/16" 2021 play 8K video?

My old MacBook Pro 15" 2016 is running overheating and unresponsive when it play 8K video on YouTube!

I wouldn't trust my MacBook Pro 15" 2016 starting today because turns out to be old computer and not enough hardware specs to get some new features.

Let's try use your MacBook Pro 14"/16" 2021 for play 8K video on YouTube.

Without a problem. I have a 14" M1 Pro hooked up to a 4K 32" monitor running two 8K videos and one 4K video at the same time without any problem. I had it run three 8K videos at a time with one video buffering once in a while because I'm on wifi and it can't quite keep up. When it wasn't buffering all three videos played just fine.

It can play seven 8k streams at once and twenty-three 4k streams. I've already seen someone edit 8k in HDR 4444 with no lag/slowdowns/freezes.
