Hey guys, I'm a developer and I'm growing into this quite a bit more and more. Basically, there are only two of us at Mint Apps right now, but I may soon add a desktop to go along with my laptop. On top of this, both myself and my business partner have laptops.
I have a lot of the code on my laptop and he has a lot of the code on his laptop. Right now, the easiest method we have found for staying caught up with each other has been just emailing the projects between each other.
Here what would be perfect, though...
We each have all of the projects on our machine, and on one of our iDisks (password protected of course) that we could then stay synced with. Meaning, we have iDisk pointing at folders on our machines. We change something, it changes on iDisk and on the other persons computer. Is this possible with iDisk?
Also, even if this isn't possible with iDisk unless we were on the same family account, it would be some consolation if I personally had a way to stay synced on a family account between a desktop and laptop of mine in the same way. I know it can be done with an alias and relying on the iDisk and using syncing, but doesn't this basically mean I don't have local files anymore outside of iDisk?
Thanks for any help for this iDisk noobie.
(P.S. I did search for answers, just couldn't find anything for my particular situations)
