via bootcamp of course.

i have a XP disk but it has not got SP2 on it

and i have a XP Pro evalutation trail disk with SP2 on it so if i install the XP via bootcamp then use SP2 of the evaluation disk will that errm work or should i fork out or try and find me a XP disk with SP2

No you cannot.

Google for "Slipstream XP SP2", and you'll find directions on how to make your own bootable XP SP2 disk.

A Windows box and a licensed copy of XP is required for this process.
