Hi all,

Quick question - currently in iOS 11 if we go to Settings>Accounts & Passwords>App & Website Passwords we can scroll all the way to the bottom to create a new login using website, username and password info.

This currently doesn't work very well as we have to make the password up ourselves, I wondered if this had changed in iOS 12 and in that part of settings it can now suggest a strong password for us?

I know in iOS 12 it can now do it within an app/website but I would maybe rather do some in here too if possible.

Thanks,

Nope, tried that a couple of days ago. You can manually fill in a password you want to use, but you can't generate a strong password from within the settings.app

Ah that's a shame, guess an app like 1Password is still needed for help in generating the passwords.

The main reason I would want to do this is the amount of times that a website fails to load or something like that when Safari has suggested a password and then it gets itself in a right old mess.
