for ipad version without 3G (built in AGPS), is it possible to make the ipad grab GPS signal from say your iPhone via bluetooth (without involving data tethering)? or for that matter any bluetooth enabled GPS devices? are there any jailbreak apps that would do that?

thanks

Yes, I believe there is. I have not used these personally, but a friend of mine bought a bluetooth GPS off deal extreme and he uses that to provide locationing to the ipad.

BtStack GPS and roqyBluetooth should let you do this.

I am not sure about feeding the iphone gps data to the iPad though.

I have both those apps and they work flawlessly with my keyring bluetooth gps receiver on both my iPad and iPod touch

If you buy one of those bluetooth gps hacks, is there like a satellite status page where you can see the amount of sat signal, waas uplinks, and margin of error? Do they even have that for when using the iPad's own GPS (i dont think it's WAAS though).
