Ok, dumb question, but I can't find anything that explicitly says this.... I know that you can add regular regular AppleCare+ to the iPhone 12 Pro after purchasing it if you did not buy it at the time of sale. However, can you also add AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss protection after buying the phone if you don't buy it at the time of sale?

So, for instance, say I order the iPhone 12 Pro from Apple.com and two weeks later decide I want to add AppleCare+ Theft And Loss, can I still do that? Or must I buy it at the time I order the iPhone 12 Pro?

Thanks for any info!

Yes you can add appecare+ theft and loss after your phone is purchased. You can do it through the apple support app. You have 60 days from purchase to add the applecare plus. I know recently they extended to within 1 year but I think after 60 days, you will need to take it to the apple store for inspection before they can allow you to add it.
