In Apple's email software in OSX, can you block addresses?

The junk folder works fine, but I'd like to be able to block certain senders...

Haha.....don't know how my address got out, as I'm very careful, but I just got my first dodgy one...

Titled.."Just Do Her"

Needless to say I didn't open it.

I always got the odd uninvited work-related one, but that's the first of the type that fills up the junk folder in hotmail......

Blocking a senders address is futile, because virtually all spam has forged headers with randomized sender addresses. The only thing blocking by sender or subject will do for you is if you have a short term mail storm all from the same place. This rarely lasts more than a day.

Ask your ISP if you can block mailserver IP and IP ranges, or subscribe to a blacklist service at the server level.
