Hey everybody!

With no new MBA coming out this year, I'm going to go ahead an upgrade this one. I had been considering a Runcore, but the non-existent customer service thread has convinced me to go in a different direction. Why would you buy a SSD with no warranty or service? Reliability is more important to me than performance.

For the record, I have a MBA rev C. Any help would be super appreciated.

Just take it to an Apple store and have them do it if you'd like maximum customer support over saving money?

Apple won't sell it to me. And, when I called an Apple repair center today, they told me they'd charge $900 for one! unless I had a broken model, then a different pricing structure applies.

Can I just buy the Samsung one myself and swap it out? Does anyone have a model number?
