Hi,

Is there a way to say change the default keyboard shortcut to reload a webpage from cmd+R to something totally different?

I’ve looked in the settings -> keyboard shortcuts but it’s not very clear.

Thanks

Maybe this app can help you. It is able to do very complex things to customize Keyboards. I just use it to change some keys on my Windows "Gaming Keyboards" when I use them on my Mac.

Yes, there is. Add a new shortcut for Safari - Reload Page in System Settings – Keyboard - Keyboard Shortcuts - App Shortcuts. If you have macOS in another language, you have to enter the menu title as it’s displayed in Safari – View menu in that language.

A WARNING about installing Karabiner elements ...

Once installed, it's CONSIDERABLY DIFFICULT to remove.
It cannot be removed using "simpler" utilities such as AppCleaner.
There is at least one file that requires fooling with terminal to get rid of.
