Can you exchange an item twice at Apple store?

Anyone have experience exchanging an item at the Apple store more than once? I originally bought the new 11”
iPad and then swapped it for the larger model a couple of days later. Now id like to swap it back? Will they do this without a hassle?

Yes they will do it. If they want to refuse taking something back because of excessive returns, they would typically give you a heads-up at the time of purchase.

If you have the receipt & no damage (& within the 14 day window,) then there shouldn't be a problem,

(but if you do it a lot, they can charge a restocking fee after 14 days & flag you as a troublemaker (it's to stop counterfeiting/drug/gang trouble.)

There's an unofficial 'rule' of 7 returns in your 14-day exchange window.

I think Home Depot has an unofficial rule of no more than 7 shopping-carts full of returns at one time... (Yea, I got behind one of those once...)

the store management gets a disgusted look hidden by a smile....
this is kinda the opposite:
store don't make $$$ on returns/exchanges,
but mostly it's a headache & if you do it a lot, you seem like a crazy person haha

Well they can always say 'no' if they want, really.
They have the right to refuse service...

but if the item isn't damaged or modified & you have the receipt & it's within the exchange period, then it's fine, i'm sure...

some retail stores won't take exchanges/returns during Xmas season though, etc...
so remember that as well.
