Quick question (since my apple store is closed for the day)... has anyone been able to pick up a 1.6/SSD at a retail store or can you just configure them online?

You can only configure that online. You can only get a 1.6 - 80GB or a 1.8 - 64GB SSD at the store

Seems like a lot of people want 1.6/SSD. I am guessing because it helps ease the SSD cost with reducing the processor and you still get something cool and on the edge like solid state.

Or because you won't notice the 200MHz difference but you will notice the SSD.

Yep, that'd be the one. Right now I am torn between ordering the 1.6/SSD through MacMall or buying the 1.8/SSD at a retail Apple Store (difference is around $400 bucks since you pay tax at the retail store and get the upgraded model).
