Hello,
Where I live the 27" i5 iMac is USD 3399 (this is extremely expensive) compared to the refurbished i5 iMac in USA. There is a guy that can pick the iMac in the apple store and bring it to me where I live.
The question is this: can that guy go to the apple store and buy an i5 refurbished iMac? Or I need to do it online?
Thank you

How can I do that?
I think it would probably get stolen, is there any kind of warranty ?

You have to sign for receipt of the package, and they wont leave it on your doorstep unless you sign papers that say that you assume all responsibility for it, which I definitely wouldn't do.

I tink the iMac would never arrive to my house since it would be confiscated/ stolen by the custom house. Or I would probably have to pay huge taxes.

Make sure you order from your countries' Apple store in your own currency. Almost every country has a customized page on Apples website. There will be no customs or importing issues then. Of course, Apple doesn't offer refurbs in every country so that may not be helpful.

in Brazil it is even more expensive arround 4400 USD ;).
I think I will buy it online in the USA apple store and send it to my grandfather that lives in NY and wait for him to come...
