Hello. So, I have a 2010 Mac mini that I use a Magic Mouse with. I just got a new iMac that came with a Magic Mouse. I want to keep the Mac mini going for a while and I’m wondering what will happen when I fire up the iMac for the first time and set it up? Will it recognize the mouse from the Mac mini and will it get all confusing? I tried to shut off the mouse for the Mac mini and I got a pop up saying it couldn’t find the mouse and will try to connect to one when it recognizes one. Does that mean if I shut off the Mac mini mouse that when I turn on the iMac mouse the Mac mini will try and connect to it?
Thanks.

The iMac will ask you what mouse and keyboard you want to use. Just select the correct one from the Bluetooth list. Once connected the paired mouse will stay with the device. I use my MBA next to my wife’s iMac and the paired devices never get confused.
