Has anyone else noticed this issue: I have an iPhone 6 with iOS9 on AT&T, my boyfriend has an iPhone 6 with iOS9 on Verizon. After we both upgraded our respective phones to iOS 9, suddenly major areas in our apartment we used to be able to take calls in are veritable "dead zones". I also have an iPhone 6s with iOS9 on Verizon which handles calls in those rooms and areas perfectly clearly. Any leads on whether iOS9 on earlier models is causing this issue? I haven't yet tried to downgrade to iOS8, but when I had that system, I could make calls anywhere in my apartment.

Similar thing here with my wife's iPhone 6 on AT&T. She used to get decent reception in her office (a couple bars on LTE). After upgrade to iOS 9 (she's on 9.0.2), most of the time she gets no service (either says "No Service", or just "AT&T" but doesn't say "4G" or "LTE"). Every now and then she'll get LTE briefly but invariably it drops out within a few seconds.

I called AT&T and they said it's a known issue and recommended doing a backup and restore, and if that doesn't work to go to an Apple Store. I haven't tried it yet though.

Thanks! I too will call AT&T and see what they have to say, and Apple, too. At first I ignored it but the other day my phone conversation was going in and out and I was practically hanging out a window.

Yikes! My iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 are still running 8.4.1, and this thread alone convinced me to hold off "upgrading" to 9. Sorry for your collective frustration, but thanks for the heads-up. ;)

Update on this. Last night did a backup through iTunes, wiped the device (erase all content and settings), then restored through iTunes. Didn't help. Looks like I'm going to a Genius Bar this weekend, if I can even get an appointment.
