I currently play WoW, I have played WoW since 2008 taking 1 year off between 2011 and 2012.

If he finds WoW more important than work then he needs help. If he misses being paid by not working then you should stop paying for anything that allows him to play the game.

How often does he play the game?

I also realise this could be a troll but I am bored so I will reply seriously.

If your boyfriend does not want to work but play WoW this sounds like a serious issue and not something to just bring to a web forum on gaming. There is a very big difference between playing the **** out of a game and being an addict (of anything).

If this is a serious issue you need to seek out and deploy resources on countering destructively addictive behavior and seriously consider professional therapy.

If this behavior is abusive or harmful you need to get out of that relationship and move on.
