So an acquaintance of mine has bought an iPhone due to the O2 price drop. I've been assigned the task of unlocking it. Normally i'd use ZiPhone but people seem to be voting against it and recommending Pwnage Tool.

However i'm not well versed on it and was looking for guidance. The situation is i'm trying to activate/jailbreak/unlock a 1.1.4 OTB 8GB iPhone. Thats all. I have the 1.1.4 firmware file on my desktop.

What else do i need to do?. I dont want custom firmware nor the iPhone 2.0 firmware just unlock/activate/jailbreak a 1.14 OTB phone and use it?

Is iLiberty+ as reversible as Pwnage?. I love iLiberty & ZiPhone's interface but i want something that wont do permanent damage
