This video explains what is wrong with games nowadays

Besides all the garbage we have compared to the old days and capitalism at its finest

One thing has caught my attention and it was not noticed (not surprisingly) by all the dimwitted zombies from the 21st century

Every single device

Every single place we visit

And every single person

Has this pathological need to stay online... 24/7

We now trust all our lives and data to these companies

When they can all of sudden do this sort of thing:
https://torrentfreak.com/you-dont-really-own-that-movie-you-bought-but-pirates-180915/

A few companies define what we are, how we think and that's it

We feel forced to copy others

We feel obliged to consume what they think it's better for us

I remembered this guy's rant last night

When I visited the Apple Store

And just wanted to download a Blackjack iOS game to play (offline, of course)

Can you believe all (except one) demanded that I was ONLINE? Otherwise they wouldn't even work!

Why can't we have a fair game like this, from 40 years ago? Is that too much to ask?

Every single game now has to be bloated and filled with stupid stuff to force you to remain online and spend more money.

You pay through the nose and still the SOBs ask for more money, to unlock more s.hitty things

If this doesn't mean we are all enslaved then I don't know what else does

I didn't even talk about "smart" devices

Smart meters and anything of the sort

That don't need to access the internet (most can be easily replaced by offline versions)

Yet the companies modify them to be like this and toy with our health since they all pollute the environment with EMF

This is a sick society and anyone that hasn't noticed where we are headed is an automaton. A puppet.

Don’t worry, AI will take over in a couple of decades and then we’ll be real slaves to technology.

Except for @AngerDanger. They’ll keep him chained to a toilet pipe and kiss him with a cattle-prod every few hours to churn out GIFs for their sick amusement. He’ll be the last remnants of our race, which gives a whole new profundity to Jane’s “I wouldn’t date you if you were the last guy on Earth” remark to him during prom.

Joke’s on her, though. She ended up living in a rented trailer with three fatherless kids. Or was it leukaemia? I can never quite remember.

Hahaha, that makes two of us! In any case, it doesn't matter; she's a vessel for the hive mind now along with all the others that survived the robo-holloucast. Erm, I mean, she will be a vessel for the hive mind after surviving the eventual robo-holloucast. Ha.

On an entirely unrelated note, it's not inconceivable that one day the AI hive mind that runs the world will tire of dictating what GIFs I create and send me back in time to make them as responses to articles on a tech site. I don't know, though, it's just a slight possibility. A hypothetical. H E L P

Don’t worry AD, most suspected deep down that your GIFs were a cry for help in some way.

Granted, some probably don’t know about the whole time-travel aspect, but then they didn’t see a naked guy appear in their back garden and demand “I need your computer, your stylus, and your animation software”. There’s no explaining out of that one.

Speaking of which, why do they always send people back without any clothing? They can transport biomatter (or living tissue over a metal endoskeleton in your case), yet even the most modest fabric to cover the jewels seem to be beyond the realms of capability.

That said, as soon as you appeared you did flex your arms and assume a Herculean pose, whilst maintaining eye-contact with me for an alarmingly long time, so perhaps clothing was more of an option rather than a technological hurdle.
