Can you install an Intel leopard dvd onto a iMac g4?

I've managed to aquire an iMac G4 17" 1.25GHz, 250GB HDD, 2GB Ram, What I would like to do is install leopard on it as I have an old intel leopard disc lying around, Is this possible and if so how do you go about it?

You can if it's a retail install disk....not one specific for a machine model.

As long as it is Leopard and not Snow Leopard it will work. As said above the cumputer specific disk (grey disc) wont work. If thats all you have just download carbon copy cloner and clone the HDD.
