Can you keep your SMS and Contact info after jailbreaking?

yeah as long as you do a backup before you jailbreak you can restore to backup after you do the jailbreak and it'll put your contexts and texts back on your phone
you can sync your contacts regardless if you do a clean restore after jailbreak as well. your sms will be gone on a clean restore tho. and the reason i say this is cuz the rumor is if you 'restore', there is battery issues.
