iOS can you link a youtube video in your iphone app?

I know this is a newbish question, but can you have a link in an app and have it link to a video you uploaded to youtube?

You can have a link to whatever you want in an app. Opening YouTube links will redirect the app to the YouTube app, closing your app though. Plenty of apps do this already.
