I'm putting together a pro-Obama project that has the potential to be very, very big. The problem is that my Photoshop skills are failing me, and every banner/logo I come up with is dead ugly.

If anyone out there has a few hours to help, send me a pm. Basically I need a site banner (say, 800x200?) with the project name and whatnot, and a couple of web badges for participants in the same style. They don't have to look like they came from Obama & Co., just have a complementary look-and-feel to the official stuff. This should be crazy easy for someone used to doing web interfaces, but I am not that person. /grin/

I obviously can't pay for this, which is why I'm hoping another supporter will pick it up and consider your work a donation to the cause. You'd get full credit on the site, of course.

Drop me a PM if interested.

Not sure it is specifically mentioned in the Forum Rules, but it is generally frowned on.

The Mods may weigh in on it, but I doubt this one will be moved to the Wasteland.

I'll do it, and I'll even pay YOU for it. It's time to change the way this board works. For too long, the most successful designers here have produced all the best work and been compensated far too handsomely.

I didn't think asking people to do work for you for free was allowed on the forum?

It isn't

NO-SPEC!

Seriously if you want someone to do something for you it a simple matter that you have to pay for it. Just because I know people who work for retail outlets doesn't mean I get free clothing, I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.

Sorry to be a little off topic but lately spec work has seemed to be posted more and more.

I understand that some don't like free design work but if there are people willing to share their time and knowledge, you have no power over them in this matter. I'm proshare as well and at times I don't charge for my services.
