Hello just got these Aipods Pro 2190 off the marketplace but it keeps on saying that someone's ID will be notified. the previous owner told me he unpaired and removed them from his appple ID before the sell. Can I somehow factory reset them?

they may need to remove activation lock, if that's on, no one else can pair them to their account.

It's not really "Activation Lock" in that you can use the AirPods just fine even though they're linked to the other Apple ID. If you can't reach them to unlink it, the only thing you won't be able to do is "Mark as lost."
