Can you select only certain tv episodes to sync?

Selecting the last 5 unwatched episodes isn't what I want for all tv shows. Is there a way to make a playlist for a workaround to select specific tv episodes to play?

You could uncheck the items that you don't want to sync and have iTunes only sync selected items.

You could uncheck the items that you don't want to sync and have iTunes only sync selected items.

iTunes won't let you have that option. You can only select or not select a tv series. If you have (which I do) 50 episodes in that TV series, it will sync all of them. I may want only 12 specific titles out of the 50, but it won't let you select individual episodes. A playlist you would think could work, but it doesn't cause it appears you can only create playlists for audio, not video.

No - you can create playlists for TV Shows or Movies. Make sure you have Playlists set to All (not just Music) on the Apple TV to view them, and then sync the appropriate playlist under TV Shows from iTunes

Yes, use manual sync. Then highlight which episodes you want to sync and drag them to your Tv on the left sidebar.

Is there a way to make a smart playlist to sync the oldest unwatched instead of the newest? I've tried and I'm not getting it yet but it seems like it should be possible.

the HD files DO take up more room, but it's highly not recommended to stream HD files because they look HORRIBLE! and i meant save space as compared to the fellows on here who like to sync EVERYTHING.just saying how i do it.i have the larger hard drive tv but no point in syncing it all
