Sometimes when I’ve been out for a walk that I’ve set as an activity I’ve been interested in seeing how many steps I’ve done but it only shows distance, times, heart rate etc, is there a way to see how many steps I’ve done in an outdoor walk please?

I know I can see the total steps for the day but I can’t see it for a specific walk.

Not natively, but I use FitPort to track steps. It's an one-time paid app with watch complications. Apple doesn't really do step tracking like others, but I need them to get my insurance discount at work for 10k+ daily.

Edit: Never mind, I just checked my run on Sunday and it doesn't show the step count for the activity. Strava doesn't either.

If you scroll down to show all data and then click on a date it shows details about when the walk occurred - not sure if what you want but

Hi, this may help but it has limitations. I use Zones for heart info after my runs. It does show steps in the data imported from Workouts. The limitation is, it only shows this data from runs, not walks for some reason. If you’re not a runner I guess you could log your walks as a run.

Thanks, odd it doesn't log walks.

It's not the end of the world, I'm just curious sometimes how many steps a walk was but it's far from the end of the world 👍🏻
