I would appreciate if someone could check if Apple has removed any features from the iTunes Remote app in iOS 14. I'm specifically interested in knowing if the app still shows the album name and if you can still tap on the album cover to quickly rate a song. As you may know, Apple removed these extremely useful and essential features from the Music app in iOS 13 (or maybe iOS 12). Why they did this is beyond me. For a music app/player to not show the album name of the song playing is completely bonkers. And why remove the useful tap to rate feature when it was not replaced by something else (now nothing happens when you tap the cover). Rating a song in the music app now takes four taps instead of two (via the ... menu).

P.S. If anyone else has similar complaints about the current Music app, I would appreciate ute if you could let Apple know by sending them feedback. If enough people complain, perhaps they will bring these features back, just as they brought back the excellent 'Show Artwork' and 'Always Show' feature in Big Sur that they inexplicably removed from the 'Song view' in the Music app in Catalina.

If someone could test this I would greatly appreciate it.

After installing iOS 14 today, I can confirm that the iTunes remote app still supports rating songs quickly by tapping the album cover. It also continues to show the album name, as opposed to in the Music app where this information sadly was removed a while back.
