I love everything about my M1 MacBook Pro compared to my 2019 13" Pro except.... the keyboard, whilst I'm not much for the 2017 MacBook butterfly keyboard, the 3rd gen butterfly feels perfect to me . Any idea if I can transplant the butterfly keyboard onto the new M1 with ease?

No, there's no way to transfer the keyboard from one to the other.

You're probably the only one that feels this way lol.

Pretty sure the keyboard is built right into the deck unfortunately.

Yeah, replacing an MBP keyboard requires replacing the entire top deck of the Mac which, I think, includes the touchbar and trackpad. An expensive proposition. It would be interesting to know whether the cables of all those peripherls are the same. You might check iFixit to look at the teardowns of the two different models.
