you'll need to call in. Internet activation doesnt work for me anyways. It works on Mojave fine but will not work on catalina and higher

If I remember correctly the last version of Office capable of that was 2008. Office 2011 requires activation over the internet (which is no longer possible because Microsoft shutdown the activation servers years ago) or phone.

I have read of people being successful in calling in. I'd not go down that road myself, but according to some folk here, it has been known to work.

Yesterday, for unknown reasons, my office 2011 license is no longer valid? Reentered the license key from the DVD. Internet servers not available. Activated by phone works, tedious, but works. Make sure to take a screenshot of the new key. On Mojave with latest update.
