iPhone 14 Pro Max Can you tryout phone 14 pro without transferring Esim, etc?

I just want to try out the new 14pm to see if I like it before transferring physical sim to esim, how do I bypass that and transferring my iPhone 12 Pro phone settings, apps and photos. I just want to try it out to make sure I like it before doing all that.

Yeah just choose setup later in settings

Yes I have done that a few times. Started with the X and did the 11pro that way too. Problem is you always end up keeping it 🤣

I was looking for this because I knew I had done it before but it seems this time it’s already setup with my number easy to go.

I bypassed the Wi-Fi settings for iCloud, then I was prompted with a screen showing my number from Verizon if it’s not then get in touch with them. My only option from there was to click continue.

I didn’t want to click it just in case it activated the 14 - I just want the Home Screen so I can explore. Also have family that want to see the 14 before purchasing or choosing another phone
