As above, I thought we had this in iOS 9 from beta version discussions but I've tried and only offered the option to upload pics. I needed this basic feature.

Can I confirm it was actually possible in the beta versions?

here's a pic of the menu for extra confirmation.

shame it's not in 9.0.x. like you I remember it in the 9.0 betas, but can't remember checking in the public releases

as an aside, always found it odd how those menu items are a lot shorter than most menu items (eg the cancel button)

That's great! As long as they don't remove it, I think they will likely time it with iPad pro.

On a side note, does ds file allow you to attach files from your synology to emails via the 'add attachments'?

I'm a little confused. You can upload iCloud Drive stuff with iOS 9.0.0/1/2 via safari.

Do you get the same options as above screenshot? I only get the first two options related to photos. I wonder why? May be a setting?

I can upload whatever file from iCloud drive, Dropbox, onedrive etc on ios 9.0.2
